Hotel Cost:     $111.00 per day (including tax)
    $9.00 per day parking charge
The El Tropicano will honor the daily room cost 2 days before September 16 and 2 days after September 19, 2012.
The El Tropicano is located on the famed Riverwalk of San Antonio and has available easy access for sightseeing and shopping. Travel via water taxi (purchase a day pass to save), which stops at the rear of the hotel and the Trolley stops (every 10 minutes) at the hotel entrance. 

Points of interest are relatively close to the hotel, for example, central riverwalk area .7mi., Alamo .7 mi., VFW Post 76,.3 mi.
Make sure to reference the name Echo 2/3 Reunion when booking reservations.
Shuttle tickets from the San Antonio airport (8.3 mi.) to the El Tropicano can be purchased at the baggage claim area.

The average temperature for September in San Antonio is in the low 80’s.  

Tentative schedule (subject to change) for the reunion:
Sunday, 16 Sept.…arrival, registration, Officers meeting
Monday, 17 Sept…. business mtg. 10am, visitation, on your own
Tuesday, 18 Sept…. visitation, sighting seeing on your own
Wednesday, 19 Sept…. on your own, banquet at 1800 hours
Thursday, 20 Sept…. have a safe trip home

If you have any questions concerning the reunion or have any special needs please call me well before the reunion date and I will do everything possible to see that your needs are covered before your arrival.

Your officers Board will be meeting prior to the reunion to assure this event runs smoothly. At this present time, I along with Rod Skelton and Jim Renfro are the main contact persons.
