The picture you are viewing was taken 14 January 1969 outside Con Thien on the old tank trail. Charlie squad was on patrol when we were ambushed and hit by a NVA Claymore mine, and took sniper fire (well, Jameson did) and a few of us were wounded including Conley and myself. That's old (Iron Mike) on the ground and Paul Conley kneeling down by him. We all cared much about each other.
